Joel J. Myers

PRINCIPAL

Joel Myers is a career Human Resources management professional. His track record includes 15 years of corporate and 15 years of consulting experience. He held management positions at Baxter Laboratories, G.D. Searle & Co., Boise Cascade and Sara Lee Corporation where he was vice president of human resources for a $3 billion business group.

At the Centre Group, Myers’ expertise lies in strategic executive and employee compensation programs, performance enhancement and feedback systems, employee attitude research and organizational planning and development.

A proponent for the human side of the organizational effectiveness equation, Myers draws on a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Missouri Valley College and an MBA from Loyola University in Chicago. Myers has lived in Memphis for 16 years.

Henry R. Evans

PRINCIPAL

Henry Evans brings a rich and varied management perspective to the business of Human Asset Management. His expertise draws from 25 years of operations, sales and personnel management experience from both the public and private sectors. He held the position of chief administrative officer for the City of Memphis for six years and personnel director for four years. In the private sector, he served as general manager of operations for Orgill Brothers, Inc., held positions in sales management at UMIC and the Union Planters Investment Banking Group and personnel management for Sterling Homex Corporation, the Monsanto Textile Division, and RCA.

At The Centre Group, Evans specializes in Executive Search, workforce processes, labor contract negotiations, leadership skill development and employee attitude research.

An avid advocate for Memphis, Evans has called the Bluff City home for 34 years. Evans is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism.

Kelly Mollica

SENIOR CONSULTANT

Kelly Mollica specializes in leadership skills development and human resource strategy. Prior to joining The Centre Group, she was on the faculty of the Babcock Graduate School of Management at Wake Forest University, where she taught organizational behavior, human resource management and negotiation. Kelly's background includes sales, marketing and management in the pharmaceutical, food distribution and healthcare industries.

Kelly has published several articles on management topics and co-authored a book chapter on human resource management practices in High Performance Manufacturing: Global Perspectives. A graduate of Penn State University, she has a Ph.D. in Business Administration. Kelly holds a Senior Professional Human Resource (SPHR) certification.

Tracy Lindow

SENIOR CONSULTANT

Tracy Lindow's diverse work experience provides knowledge of "best in class" human resource systems in the areas of employee training & development and compensation systems, plus having hands-on experience in public relations/marketing and strategic planning. Tracy has held management and leadership positions in healthcare, manufacturing and insurance/financial services. Prior to joining The Centre Group, Tracy was as consultant with Harmony Consulting and was the Director of Business Development for Palmetto Behavioral Health System, after serving as Director of Human Resources for Charter Charleston Behavioral Health System.

Tracy holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Chapman University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Business Administration from Rhodes College and is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Tracy is also an adjunct instructor for the Master of Science in Human Resource Management program through Webster University's Memphis site and for Southwest Tennessee Community College.

Carrie Sanders

Carrie Sanders recently joined The Centre Group as Senior Consultant. Carrie is a professional speaker, trainer, and consultant who began her own business, Peopleware, in 1996 after working as a marketing executive for Xerox Corporation. She has held leadership positions in both the educational and corporate environments. Prior to her position at Xerox, Carrie worked as a senior consultant for CAP Ventures,  a leading global market research firm based in Massachusetts. Before that, she was the Director of Publications for Southern College of Optometry right here in Memphis, Tennessee. Most recently, she served on the executive leadership team of Kele, Inc. where she was responsible for several organizational development initiatives. In addition, she has served on the Board of Directors of the International Publishing Management Association, and she has published numerous articles pertaining to management and leadership issues. She was an adjunct faculty member of University of Memphis and the recipient of the 1999 Blossoms of Iris Award (HER magazine) honoring the entrepreneurial accomplishments of female business owners. Carrie encourages others to maximize their leadership potential, and she does so with humor and with heart. Her efforts at The Centre Group will focus on providing customized training and facilitating business strategies that enable client companies to maximize their success potential, while developing and sustaining a healthy organizational culture.

Jennifer Blake

Jennifer Blake’s HR generalist background spans a variety of industries, beginning with financial services, and then moving into healthcare where she was Director of Human Resources for a large, partially-unionized community hospital. She then became an internal consultant for a stand-alone children’s medical center. Prior to joining The Centre Group, Jennifer operated as an independent HR consultant in the central Connecticut area for six years before she and her family relocated to the Memphis area.

As a generalist, Jennifer has developed a broad knowledge of most facets of the HR field, but has honed her skills in the areas of employee compensation and performance management, employee communications, and the development of hands-on HR systems.

Jennifer is a graduate of Oklahoma State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business, with a major in human resource management. She has been an active member of several professional HR groups over the years including the Society for Human Resources Management and its local chapter, SHRM Memphis.
